Rex Bicycle Wash consists of 100% biodegradable anionic surfactants and complexing agents. We manufacture the detergent at our factory in Hartola.

The concentrate can be used to make (at a 1:10 mixing ratio) 10L of mildly foaming and lightly citrus-scented detergent.

When researching the raw materials for Rex Bicycle Wash, we discovered that many of the detergents preferred by cyclists are harmful to bicycle components. Strongly alkaline detergents cause corrosion in aluminum parts and take away the shine of anodized parts. Rex Bicycle Wash has been proven to be completely safe in long-term dissolution tests. Rex Bicycle Wash also does not leave a surface on brake discs that reduces braking performance, unlike detergents containing wax.

WATER-BASED, SOLVENT-FREE DETERGENT AND CLEANER

Based on modern, environmentally friendly chemistry, without solvents. The mixture ratio of Rex Bicycle Wash has been chosen to be strong enough, so that it can not only be used for general cleaning, but also for cleaning stubborn dirt from the drivetrain. We use four times the amount of detergent ingredients in the detergent compared to the raw material supplier's recommendation to achieve the best cleaning effect. Despite this, the detergent is gentle and environmentally friendly. If you need even more cleaning power to clean the drivetrain, use Rex Chain Cleaner.

Prepare a washing solution from the concentrate, at a mixing ratio of 1:10, and use the detergent as follows:

  • Rinse loose dirt off the bicycle with water.
  • Spray the detergent and let it sit for a while.
  • Wash clean using a brush or sponge.
  • Finally, rinse well with water.
