At first I was worried about the warmth of the hat, because the fabric is thin and "perforated" at the back. I've had the hat for about 4 months now and the temperatures have been between -20 and +5°C. I've been wearing a Salicen Vento hat over my helmet and a Buff tube scarf to protect my neck and nape. I've never felt cold while riding. The fabric at the front completely blocks the wind and moisture evaporates from the back really effectively, and the hat doesn't even get wet on the surface.

I have pretty sensitive ears and the hat protects them well. With previous hats, I had a problem with the ear flaps dampening the sound, so I couldn't hear other traffic clearly. This hat doesn't have that problem, because the ThermoDrytex fabric doesn't block sound.

The hat is a "one size fits all" model and thanks to the GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ fabric it even stays in place. The fabric is really elastic. This is not optimal as a break hat due to breathability, but is actually designed as a helmet liner hat as the title suggests.
