Scratch EVA is Prologo's first ergonomic saddle for women.

Prologo has been studying the anatomy of the female body for years, in close collaboration with the UCI Women's Worldteam and the UCI Women's Continental Team, with one ambitious goal in mind: to ensure that every woman can ride like a true champion.

The invaluable collaboration with Marta, who used prototypes of the new saddle first in training and then in competition, helped Prologo develop the model day by day until the final success was achieved: victories in the Amstel Gold Race and the Fleche Wallonne!

From these trainings and victories comes the new Prologo Scratch EVA, an ergonomic saddle with racing DNA, made exclusively for women. Designed to support the performance of both World Tour champions and the most demanding female cyclists looking for maximum comfort even on long journeys.

Anatomical shape designed specifically for the female body

The new Scratch EVA partly reflects the ergonomic T-shape of the Scratch M5, a unisex multidisciplinary saddle that has already distinguished itself at the highest level on the road and off-road, winning in recent years: two Tours de France, Monuments and several Cross Country World Cups. However, the anatomical shape of the new Scratch EVA has been redesigned to better fit the female body by moving the "anatomical center" of the saddle 5 mm forward. This solution allows the seat to be moved forward, which increases the support surface for women's pelvis, which is wider for men.

The result? A new saddle that is still efficient but even more comfortable, with compact dimensions (250 mm x 140 mm) that nevertheless allow good freedom of movement for pedaling with maximum efficiency in all positions, from the most relaxed to the most aggressive.

Variable density cushioning and central channel

The EVA name, in addition to referring to the Italian name of the first lady, also comes from the material of the padding, which is made of EVA foams with different densities depending on the different areas of the saddle. At the back, where the sit bones rest, the padding is thicker and made of dense foam, which can provide the most support. In contrast, in the middle and front, where the soft tissues rest, there is a thinner padding, made of low-density foam to minimize pressure peaks. This difference in thickness and density creates a channel in the middle of the saddle with a large, very soft surface.

A targeted design and optimized seat for the female anatomy, eliminating numbness, pain and preventing impaired blood circulation. Under the central channel, the Scratch EVA also includes Prologo's signature Active Base System: a base with a hole in the middle that further reduces pressure and thus increases comfort while pedaling. Finally, the front of the saddle has been widened by about 10mm and tilted downwards to ensure a good support surface even in situations such as steep climbs where you have to pedal while sitting on the front of the saddle.

Frame and rails for different needs

Like most Prologo saddles, the Scratch EVA is available in several versions to suit different needs. For more performance-oriented riders looking for a stiff and lightweight saddle, there is a version with a Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) rail, made up of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum filaments. A rail already widely used by Prologo on all its top models, which reduces the total weight of the saddle to 183 grams. For those looking for more comfort, there is another version available, weighing 232 g, with a TiroX rail made of light alloy steel, a material with an excellent balance of weight and strength, which reduces saddle stiffness and provides excellent vibration damping. THIS MODEL IS WITH TIROX RAILS.
